The 9/11 Memorial and Museum is located at the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan and is dedicated to the memory of the victims of the September 11 attacks. The memorial features two enormous waterfalls and reflecting pools, each about an acre in size, set within the footprints of the original Twin Towers. The museum displays artifacts, photographs, and personal stories of the victims and survivors of the attacks, as well as the first responders and recovery workers who worked tirelessly in the aftermath of the tragedy.
