To reach Lake Danao, you can take a flight to Tacloban City, the capital of Leyte province. From Tacloban, you can hire a private vehicle or take a public bus or van to Ormoc City, which is approximately 105 kilometers away. Once you reach Ormoc City, you can hire a tricycle or a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Lake Danao Nature Park. The journey from Ormoc City to Lake Danao takes around 30 minutes.
