Murano is a small island located just a short boat ride from Venice and is known for its glassmaking. Take a tour of one of the glass factories to see how the glass is made or simply stroll around the island and admire the colorful buildings and canals. Be sure to also visit the Church of Santa Maria e San Donato, which features beautiful Byzantine mosaics.
