The Cathedral of Christ the Savior is a massive Orthodox church located on the banks of the Moskva River. It was originally built in the 19th century to commemorate Russia's victory over Napoleon, but was destroyed by the Soviet government in the 1930s. The cathedral was rebuilt in the 1990s and is now one of the largest churches in the world.
