The Süleymaniye Mosque is an Ottoman imperial mosque located on the Third Hill of Istanbul, Turkey. It was built between 1550 and 1557 during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. The mosque is famous for its massive dome, intricate tilework, and beautiful gardens. It is still an active mosque and is closed to non-worshippers during prayer times.
